Men’s and women’s beach soccer internationals contribute to advanced high-performance training programme at the FPF Academy
Several players from Portugal’s men’s and women’s national beach soccer teams are currently taking part in the UEFA Fitness Coach A Diploma course, organised by the FPF Academy and running until 29 April.
Now in its second edition, the advanced programme aims to develop fitness coaches with the key skills and knowledge required to optimise player performance at elite level. The course follows a competency-based, participant-centred approach, ensuring professionals are fully prepared to meet the demands of modern high-performance football.

This year’s edition stands out for the integration of athletes from the senior national beach soccer teams, providing a training environment closely aligned with the realities of elite competition. In particular, the participation of players from the Portuguese women’s national beach soccer team — the current Euro Beach Soccer League champions — adds further value and quality to the practical component of the programme.
