The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will host, next November, the Beach Soccer US Indoor Championships
Beach Soccer will be travelling again to Miami, Florida, for a new chapter of the love story between the city and the sport. This time, the action will be taken Indoors, in an amazing venue: The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Hollywood (Florida). After the agreement between Beach Soccer Worldwide and Beach Soccer North America, the Beach Soccer US Indoor Championships is yet a reality.
The competition will take place between November 13th and 18th, involving six of the best National Teams in the world: CONMEBOL champions Brazil, FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2013 European Qualifier winners Spain, CONCACAF kings Mexico, World Cup participants Venezuela and Colombia, together, of course, with host USA.
Luis Felipe Tavares, BSWW President, highlights the importance it has for the sport to strengthen the relationship with such a Beach Soccer loving territory as Florida: “It is great news for us to be back in South Florida… The amazing success of the Beach Soccer Worldwide Miami Cup 2011, held last year in this wonderful city was the best prove that Miami, Florida and the whole country, love our sport deeply. We strongly believe that this wonderful resort has all assets to become one of the Beach Soccer main hotspots in the world, and this is why we wanted to come back here, and, this year, with a wider competition, featuring more teams and lasting more days.”
In turn, Rich Rose, from Beach Soccer North America, pointed that “with so many Football and Beach Soccer fans in Florida, and the surrounding areas, we think the Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is the perfect venue to host this first edition of the Beach Soccer US Indoor Championships. Its facilities are excellent“.
The tournament was presented yesterday, in a press conference held at the venue. The USA National Beach Soccer team players, Francis Farberoff and Oscar Gil also attended the conference, and pointed out the great feeling of playing at home, and facing such terribly competitive opponents.
