Eight National Team coaches take part in the three-day symposium, held at CONMEBOL HQ in Asunción
Beach Soccer was present at the Experts Workshop organized by CONMEBOL in Paraguay last weekend, which dealt with different issues of the three football modalities.
Conducted by FIFA Instructor Joaquín Alonso and held at the CONMEBOL headquarters in Asunción, several coaches of the CONMEBOL National Teams took part in the convention: Francisco Petrasso or Carlos Juarez, from Argentina; Guga Zloccowick from Paraguay, Andrés Carrasco, from Chile, Francisco de Aleida ‘Chicão’ from Peru, Diego Montserrat from Uruguay and Fabio da Costa from Brazil.
The beach soccer part was focused on the formation of the FIFA Instructor. During the symposiym the task group designed a set of materials and topics to compose a 3-day course aimed at formating Beach Soccer instructors.
The sessions were both theoretical and practical, and topics such as the laws of the game, designing of training session, coaching strategies or technical and tactical issues were dealt with.
