Three games will now take place on both Saturday and Sunday in Lagos
The remainder of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations will see two semi-finals and the first match of the fifth-place play-off take place on Saturday before the final is held on Sunday along with the matches to decide third and fifth.
Four matches were due to take place on both days – with a seventh-place play-off set to be staged – however, Libya’s withdrawal due to admistrative reasons means this will no longer be the case.
The winners of Saturday’s semi-finals will be ensured a place at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in the Bahamas next year, with Sunday’s final due to decide the best team in Africa.
