Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Peru and Paraguay get into Group A; Uruguay, Argentina, Ecuador and Colombia into Group B

The last of the stages that open the door to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2011 Ravenna/Italy has been drawn. With the arrival of newcomers Colombia, the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup – CONMEBOL Qualifier gets tougher than ever, and nine teams will fight for one of the three tickets at stake. The last qualifying leg, to be held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) from July 31^st to August 7^th, will be again a hard battle in which hosts and current World champions cannot afford a single mistake if they want to get to the global showcase to defend their title. Only the two finalists and the winner of a dramatic 3^rd/4^th place match will make it to Italy…

After the official Draw today, current World Cup holders will share Group A with Venezuela, Peru, Paraguay and one of their most uncomfortable opponents, Chile, who snatched them the Copa Latina in 2010. On the other side, Group B will face two of the big guns in the continent: Uruguay and Argentina. Alongside them, Ecuador and ‘rookie’ Colombia will try their best to get ino the semifinals stage, where the final decision is to be made.
