Brazilian-boosted Alanya lift the Turkish league cup just days after the World Winners Cup
Just a week or so after finishing the World Winners Cup in fifth, Alanya Belediyespor were crowned the beach soccer kings of Turkey.
They defeated Yesil Ercis Belediyespor in a closely-fought final, downing their rivals by five goals to four.
Filipe Silva ended the World Winners Cup as the Top Scorer but the Brazilian will now be leaving Alanya with another individual trophy, as he claimed the MVP award in the Turkish league.
Spaniard Edu Suarez (Seferihisar) shared the Top Scorer award with Portugal’s Be Martins (Yesil Ercis Belediyespor), both of whom scored an impressive 16 goals!
The hosts also claimed the Best Goalkeeper award, which went to Ismail Turhan (Alanya Belediyespor).
As well as the usual three individual prizes, the league presented an award for Fair Play to Leo Martins (Yesil Ercis Belediyespor) and one for Best Young Player, which went to Serkan Banazli (Seferihisar Cittaslow).
In the play-off for third, Seferihisar Cittaslow put no less than 15 goals past Karasu Belediye, who only managed four in response.
