Both sides earn six points out of six in the first leg of last qualifying round in the UAE Beach Soccer National League
Al Ahli and Al Nasr get firmly ahead in their group in the UAE National Beach Soccer League. Both teams stayed impressive over the weekend, winning both their qualifying matches in this round of qualifiers for the competition, held at the Al Mamzar Beach Park.
With a stunning performance from key-import Madjer, Al Ahli counteracted Hatta Club’s opener to have things 7-3 on their side. Six goals from the Portuguese hero, together with the contribution by Iranian international Hussain got the job done for the red team in their debut in the league. The day after, Al Ahli took on Al Shabab to bag three more points (6-2), again, with Madjer twice drilling the opponent’s net.
6 points out of six was Al Nasr’s record, too. Banking on relevant UAE National players such as Ali Karim, Adil Rami or Abbas Ali, the blue side struck Dubai Club (8-5) after having given neighbours Al Wasl no chance at all in their tournament’s opening (6-1).
The third winner in the second matchday in this qualifying round was Hatta Club, thanks to the efforts by their charismatic player Bakhit Saad, managing a 6-2 win over Al Shabab, who, in turn, had previously achieved a hard-fought 5-4 win over Dubai Club the day before.
Al Ahli, Al Nasr and Hatta Club, then, occupy the top three places in this Dubai qualifying round. If nothing changed in the upcoming matchdays of next weekend, they would get the pass to the tournament’s finals, to be held in Al Mamzar Beach Park next April 11th-23rd. Ajman, Al Hamriya, Ittihad Kalba, Dibba Al Hosn and Al Oroobah are already waiting there…
