Spain Wins Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League Title

Italy finish second and Portugal take third place

Spain has been crowned champions of the Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League 2026 after defeating Italy in the final, securing their second European title after their first triumph in 2022. Italy finished runners-up, while Portugal completed the podium in third place.

Portugal win 3-1 against Ukraine
Portugal made a fast start as Tristão and Ferreira found the net to establish a 2-0 lead in the opening period.

Ukraine fought back in the second period, with Kostiuk reducing the deficit late on. However, Joana Meira restored Portugal’s two-goal cushion just two minutes before the second break.

Portugal held firm in the final period, protecting their advantage to claim a 3-1 win and finish third in the competition.

Spain win 4-3 against Italy in extra time
Spain were crowned champions after a thrilling extra-time victory. Massa opened the scoring for Italy just two minutes into the game, giving his side an early advantage.

Spain responded immediately after the restart, with Sara Tui levelling before Andrea Miron put Spain ahead. Massa struck again to make it 2-2, but Serrat’s late goal restored Spain’s lead at the second break.

Italy equalised through Privitera in the third period to force extra time. With the title hanging in the balance, Corol Glez found the decisive goal to seal Spain’s hard-fought victory and European crown.

Individual Awards
During the awards ceremony, the competition’s top performers were recognised. Italy’s Fabiana Vecchione was named the tournament MVP, Spain’s Laia received the Best Goalkeeper award, while Andrea Mirón of Spain claimed the Top Goalscorer award.
