Italy, Moldova, Denmark and Germany win on day two
Following day two actions in the men’s competition, Italy, Moldova, and Switzerland officially secure their qualification for the Superfinals, leaving the remaining two spots to be decided on Friday

Group C
Italy win 12-1 against Kazakhstan
The Azzurri set the tone immediately in a blistering first period, starting with an early goal from Fazzini. Josep Jr added a second a minute later, followed by a remarkable hat-trick surge from Andriani. Casapieri added his own with two minutes left to play in the period, and Josep Jr grabbed his second to cap off a stunning 7-0 opening period.
Kazakhstan managed to get on the scoreboard when Dering found the back of the net midway through the second period. But Italy continued their dominance, as Alla extended the lead to 8-0, bringing the score to 8-1 heading into the final period.
The Azzurri stamped out any thoughts of a comeback in the third period. Remedi, Sciacca, Genovali, and Bertacca all found the net to wrap up the emphatic 12-1 victory for the Italian side.
Moldova win 4-1 against Belgium
Moldova asserted control early in the first period, as Sîrghi opened the scoring midway through the game. Gurjui doubled the lead with his late strike, and Sîrghi added his second right at the last-minute mark to cap off a dominant opening period with Moldova ahead 3-0.
Belgium fought back in the second period, which produced a goal to reduce their deficit to 3-1, courtesy of Jonathan.
Moldova restored their comfortable cushion in the final period. Sîrghi completed his hat-trick with a late goal, sealing the final 4-1 scoreline and securing a strong victory for the hosts.
Group D
Denmark win 6-2 against Estonia
The Danish side took control early in the first period, with Madsen netting twice in quick succession early in the game to establish a 2-0 lead. Madsen capped off a stellar individual opening period by completing his hat trick with a goal three minutes left to play in the period. Estonia fought back, as Lilleorg found the net to reduce their deficit to 3-1 just before the first break.
However, Denmark quickly re-established their dominance in the second period. Wegeberg’s early goal and another by Hansen increased their tally before Schmidt struck to stretch their lead to a commanding 6-1.
Estonia managed to grab a late consolation goal in the third period when Munskind scored right at the last minute of the period. Still, Denmark comfortably managed the remainder of the match to seal a comprehensive 6-2 victory.
Germany win 3-2 against Ukraine
Ukraine struck first in the opening period when Voitenko found the back of the net in the first minute of play, giving his side a 1-0 lead heading into the first break.
Germany turned the match around in the second period. Olli drew things level with his strike in the third minute of play, before Peterson put Germany ahead with a goal just at the last minute of the period, bringing the score to 2-1 in favour of the German side.
Germany extended their advantage late in the third period when Widmann found the net to make it 3-1. Although Ukraine fought back with a goal from Yarmak right at the 0-minute mark, Germany successfully defended their lead to seal a narrow and vital 3-2 victory.
