As part of the Euro Beach Soccer League Division B Georgia 2026, Beach Soccer Worldwide, The Beach Soccer Foundation and the Georgia Football Federation as local organizing committee, organised a special inclusive beach soccer clinic in Batumi, bringing together sport, learning and social inclusion in a memorable morning on the sand.
The clinic welcomed participants from the Batumi Football Center, with the support of Beka Shakaradze, coach at the Batumi Sports Centre, offering children and young people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) the opportunity to discover beach soccer in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Through a series of adapted games and interactive activities, participants developed new skills, built confidence and, most importantly, enjoyed the unique experience of playing on the sand.

One of the highlights of the day was the involvement of players competing in the Euro Beach Soccer League. Athletes representing England, Slovakia, Norway, Latvia and Georgia joined the session, interacting directly with the participants, encouraging them throughout the activities and creating unforgettable moments both on and off the pitch. Their enthusiasm, kindness and commitment helped create a joyful atmosphere, making the clinic a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.

The initiative forms part of the Beach Soccer Foundation’s commitment to making beach soccer accessible to all, using the sport to promote inclusion, respect, participation and equal opportunities. By creating welcoming environments where everyone can take part, the Foundation continues to demonstrate how beach soccer can positively impact individuals and communities alike.

Activities like this reinforce Beach Soccer Worldwide’s vision of growing the sport beyond competition, bringing people together through shared experiences and the universal values of teamwork, friendship and respect. By engaging local communities alongside international athletes, beach soccer continues to inspire meaningful connections and leave a positive legacy wherever it is played.

The Beach Soccer Foundation would like to thank the Batumi Football Center, Beka Shakaradze, players, as well as coaches, volunteers, staff and everyone involved in making this special clinic possible. Their collaboration helped create a day filled with smiles, friendship and unforgettable memories, once again demonstrating the power of beach soccer to unite people through sport.
