The Beach Soccer Foundation promotes inclusion at U20 Euro Beach Soccer Cup Viareggio 2026

Special clinic with C.R.E.A. Viareggio highlights the power of beach soccer beyond competition

During the first edition of the U20 Euro Beach Soccer Cup Viareggio 2026, and as is customary at Beach Soccer Worldwide events, The Beach Soccer Foundation organised a special clinic in collaboration with C.R.E.A. Viareggio, a social and educational organisation that supports people with disabilities.

The activity became one of the most meaningful moments of the event, bringing together participants from C.R.E.A., players and coaches from the national teams competing in the tournament. Through beach soccer, the clinic created an atmosphere of inclusion, interaction and shared experiences, highlighting the positive impact sport can have beyond competition.

More than just a training session, the initiative aimed to show these young athletes that beach soccer is not only about playing and competing, but also about creating change, promoting inclusion and building understanding through sport.

By sharing the sand together, participants and players experienced first-hand the values of teamwork, empathy and respect — values that remain at the heart of The Beach Soccer Foundation’s mission.
