The final day of action from the Euro Beach Soccer League Moldova 2025 – Division A took place. Italy emerged champions with a perfect three wins in three games. Spain finished runners-up, while Ukraine claimed third in a tournament filled with high-scoring drama, standout individual performances, and non-stop action.

Group A
Poland win 4-1 against Denmark.
Poland closed out a 4-1 victory over Denmark in the final group fixture. Denmark struck first through Damm midway into the opening period, but their lead lasted less than a minute, as Niesler responded immediately to restore parity at 1-1 heading into the first break.

In the second period, Poland took full control of the match. Witkowski found the target with a clinical finish before Pietrasiak added another, giving the Polish side a solid 3-1 advantage going into the final period.
Denmark struggled to convert their chances in the final period, and Poland stayed composed. With just seconds to go, Mańka added a fourth to wrap up a composed and convincing 4-1 win for Poland.
Spain win 11-4 against Moldova.
Spain wrapped up their group stage in style with a dominant 11-4 victory over hosts. The match began evenly, with Gatica scoring for Spain and Cojocari replying for Moldova to end the first period level at 1-1.

Spain stepped up in the second period, netting six goals through López, Otero, a double each from Chiky and Brian. Moldova responded with goals from Vieru, Ignat, and Cojocari’s second, but still trailed 7-4.
In the final period, La Roja showed no signs of slowing down. Chiky completed his hat-trick, while Hermosa and Suli Batis netted twice to wrap up an emphatic 11-4 victory.
Group B
France win 7-3 against Latvia.
France earned their first win with a commanding performance over Latvia. Les Bleus struck early in the opening period through Segura, before Laasami doubled the lead just a minute before the break to hand France a 2-0 advantage.

Momentum stayed with France in the second period. Laasami notched his second of the game shortly after the restart, and Guerin added a brace in succession to extend the lead to 5-0, leaving Latvia with work to do.
Latvia eventually responded in the final period, as Rubenis and Spunde found the net to cut the gap to 5-2. But France pushed back. Laasami completed his hat-trick, and Segura scored again to restore a five-goal cushion. Vasiljevs added a late goal for Latvia, but the result was sealed. France secured a well-deserved 7-3 win.
Italy win 8-2 against Ukraine.
Italy overpowered Ukraine to secure a perfect record in Chișinău. Sciacca opened the scoring early in the first period to give the Azzurri the lead, but Ukraine responded just before the break through Borsuk to make it 1-1.

The second period saw Italy regain control, first benefiting from a Ukrainian own goal, before Voitenko equalised once again at 2-2. That parity didn’t last long, as Giordani, Sassari, and Remedi each struck to put Italy 5-2 up heading into the final third.

The Italians maintained their momentum in the last period, with goals from Josep Jr, Santini, and a second from Sassari sealing a commanding 8-2 win, confirming Italy’s dominance in Group B.
Individual awards
During the awards ceremony in Chișinău, three individual accolades were presented to the standout performers of the tournament. Italy’s Josep Jr. was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) for his instrumental role in leading the Azzurri to the title. His teammate Leandro Casapieri earned the Best Goalkeeper award, showcasing consistency and composure between the posts. The Top Goalscorer honour went to Chiky Ardil of Spain, who delivered a clinical attacking display throughout the competition.
