Senegal and Mauritania qualify for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025

The nations will compete for the Africa Cup of Nations title on 26th October


Following two huge CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals, it was Senegal and Mauritania who prevailed, booking their places in the final and at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025. The CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations final is set to take place on 26th October at 15:30 (local time).

The first semi match-up saw Senegal defeat hosts Egypt 2-1, as strikes from Diagne and Diatta made the difference for the defending champions, as they head into their fifth consecutive final in the competition.

Competition debutants Mauritania were the victors in the second semi-final, overcoming Morocco with a 7-4 win. Mouhamedou Wedou netted a hat-trick in the fixture to assist his nation to qualify for the final, which will see a rematch of the Group B fixture earlier on in the competition.
