The Paraguayan side win the competition for the first time
The final of the most prestigious beach soccer competition in South America was here as San Antonio faced reigning champions, Presidente Hayes to decide who would become the champions of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Fútbol Playa 2023.
Final
San Antonio win 3-1 against Presidente Hayes.
The scoring began with a long-range strike from San Antonio goalkeeper, Alan Rodas as his shot ricocheted off the surface to wrong foot foot the opposition goalkeeper. However, the teams were level once again as Lucas Ponzetti had the whole goal to aim at, as he fired home into an open net to bring the opening period to a close.
