A new Emirati champion was crowned on Thursday as Shabab Al Ahli lifted the trophy in Dubai.
With a comfortable 8-3 win in the final over DXB Beach Soccer, the new Emirati beach soccer kings cruised to victory.
Meanwhile in the third-place playoff, Shanghai scored nine goals against Dubai Police, who managed four in reply, to take the bronze.
BSWW President Joan Cusco was present at the UAE FA Headquarters to present the winning team with the trophy.
Eleven teams took part in the 2021 edition of the national league, which despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, returned this year after a five-year hiatus.
The competition kicked off on Thursday 22 April and culminated in the final yesterday evening.
The Beach Soccer League was organised by the UAE Football Association and took place at their headquarters in Al Khawaneej, Dubai.
