The maiden edition of the event drew to a close in Kabul last week.
Last week saw the culmination of the inaugural Kabul Winter Games with 21 Centory Club crowned champions after victory over Omid Afghan.
In what was the first beach soccer event to take place in the country during the winter, the competition ran over eight days and saw 11 teams compete in two groups.
Following six days of group matches, and a rest day, Centory and Omid Afghan found themselves in the semi-finals along with Jawanan Urdu and Afghan Club.
While Centory progressed in a tight 4-2 win against Jawanan, Omid Afghan eased past Afghan Club 10-5.
In Thursday’s final, Centory prevailed 7-5 to lift the title, with Zainuddin Sharifi named the best player of the tournament.
Jawanan’s Samiullah Mohammadi picked up the top scorer award thanks to his 44-goal haul while Abdulbaset from Omid Afghan claimed the top goalkeeper prize.
