2022 Beach Soccer Calendar

Top events including the World Winners Cup and the NEOM Beach Soccer Cup will return this season

Beach Soccer Worldwide has released the latest version of the 2022 beach soccer season calendar.

Top beach soccer events such as the Men’s and Women’s World Winners Cups will make comebacks, with clubs from all over the globe heading to the Italian island of Sardinia to compete for the world title.

On top of that, the NEOM Beach Soccer Cup in Saudi Arabia will return, and will also feature a women’s category in its second edition.

The 2022 Euro Beach Soccer League is set to feature two stages this season, one in Nazaré at the end of June, and the other in Moldova at the end of July. The Superfinal will head back to Alghero where it was staged in 2018, and World Winners Cup will follow immediately, being played in the same venue from 13 to 19 September.

New additions to the agenda include the Clubs World Tour (to take place in Rio de Janeiro), the Sicilia Beach Soccer Cup and the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup, as well as a brand-new youth tournament, the Llorenç Beach Soccer Cup which took place in April and was a huge success.

Alongside all of these events, the time has come once again to decide which men’s and women’s teams will be battling for Olympic medals at the ANOC World Beach Games 2023, and the European qualifier will be staged in Catania, Italy from 29 August to 4 September.

More classic events, such as the Copa Lagos in Nigeria, and of course the season will be rounded off by the flagship competition in Dubai, the Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup.

The event in the UAE will be topped off with the glittering gala of the Beach Soccer Stars, where the very best of the sport will be recognised.

The competition format, regulations and the teams taking part in each competition will be officially communicated in due course.

See you on the sand!
