We find ourselves in a situation we have never been in before. And situations like this demand solid solutions, smart strategy and careful planning. The true sense of teamwork is uniting to jointly achieve a goal that affects us all.
It is our responsibility to think on a global scale, and we will always put the safety of the athletes and fans first. Our priority is people, and this is why Beach Soccer Worldwide will follow the recommendations and measures indicated by the health authorities and the different governments to battle the Covid-19 pandemic.
In recent weeks we have seen the world of sport take important, and often difficult, decisions. But there has never been a more crucial time to do so. Making decisions now is vital to protect everybody’s wellbeing and future.
Now is the time to stay at home, but this does not mean that the beach soccer stops. You can rest assured that BSWW will keep working flat-out to adapt the season and put in place alternative scenarios, waiting for the situation to normalize and enjoy as much as we have always done.
We will continue to prepare events, calendars and match schedules, looking for new options to boost beach soccer development at different levels, reviewing the best solutions to support the growth of the sport in every corner of the world.
We are working hard to make sure everything is ready to take off as soon as the situation allows sports competitions to take place in the usual manner, and we can promise that as soon as the authorities give the green light, the beach soccer season will commence in full force, bringing you the competitions matches and activities we have always had.
Meanwhile, and to do as much as we can to make these days as enjoyable as possible, we are also offering a lot of interesting contest through our channels. You may have seen some of it already, but there’s more where that came from. It’s true that we can’t be on the beach right now, but we will make sure to deliver beach soccer to your home.
Let’s stay strong. Let’s stay together. Let’s stay at home.
