Spain first Movers of the Month in 2019
After being named as the best beach soccer team in 2018 La Roja are January’s Movers of the Month
Always a quiet time in the calendar, the first month in 2019 saw little official beach soccer action. However, every month must have its Movers...
Who better to take the January title than the mighty Spain. La Roja have recently been named as the best team of 2018 after impressive performances in the Euro Beach Soccer League and in the Intercontinental Cup in Dubai.
Compared to last year, Joaquin Alonso’s men have shot up the ranking to break into the top ten and currently sit in ninth position.
There was little movement in the table, due to the lack of activity in the month of January, but after playing a few friendlies in Lima, Peru jump two places, from 34th to 32nd.
As a result of Peru ascending, Lebanon and Czech Republic are two of the teams that drop by a single place.
You can check the world ranking in full right here.
Who do you think will claim the Movers of the Month title in February?
