The Brazilians triumph in Liga Sudamericana to earn the October Movers of the Month title
Gilberto’s Brazilians are at it again! Doing what they do best has not only cemented their position as the world’s most formidable beach soccer force, but also earned the Verde-Amarela the title of October’s Movers of the Month.
It was a perfect run in the Liga Sudamericana which helped Brazil retain their spot at the very top of the world ranking in decisive fashion.
The top ten remained unchanged in October, following Italy’s jump into fourth place in September. Portugal remain in second, while IR Iran (who will be in action next week in the Huawei Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup Dubai), stay in third.
Moving down the table, most of the accessions are South American following the conclusion of the league. Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Peru all moved up the table, at the expense of teams including Oman, Nigeria, Panama and USA – who will also be in action in Dubai.
