Morocco on a roll after defeating Levante UD
The hosts took on the prominent Spanish club and made sure they left no doubt in the penultimate day in El Jadida
Day two at the BSWW Tour El Jadida 2015 included another great performance from Morocco but this time at the expense of Levante UD. With only one day and one match remaining, the Moroccans knew they had to defeat the Spanish club if they wanted to remain undefeated and claim the championship. The Lions of the Atlas started quickly and did not look back as they looked even stronger on day two than they did on day one. The opening day saw them defeat a feisty Hungarian side by a score of 5-2. Morocco and Hungary will again take center stage on Sunday, in the final match of the event.
Morocco did not want to disappoint the home crowd and even though they were the favourites going into the match, they did not want to be shocked and surprised by Levante, so they took the match very seriously. How serious? Three goals in the opening frame serious, while also holding the Spanish club to zero goals. The middle frame had Levante fighting back, scoring their first, but not before Morocco added another, leaving the score at 4-1 going into the final frame. The final period belonged solely to Morocco with El Hadaoui scoring his second and third goals to leave his team up 6-1 when the final whistle sounded.
Goals: 1-0: El Hadaoui, min. 8 (1); 2-0: Nassim, min. 5 (1); 3-0: El Hamidy, min. 6 (2); 4-0: Boulakouab, min. 5 (2); 4-1: Miralles, min. 4 (2); 5-1: El Hadaoui, min. 11 (3); 6-1: El Hadaoui, min. 7 (3).
