Czechia and Türkiye survive Division A relegation battle

The Division A relegation playoff concluded with Czechia and Türkiye securing their place in the top division, while Belgium and Estonia were relegated to Division B.

Czechia win 2-1 against Belgium
Czechia took control in the opening period, with Špaček and Radosta finding the net to give their side a 2–0 lead at the first break.

Belgium reduced the deficit late in the second period when Lambert scored to make it 2–1 heading into the final period.

Czechia defended its narrow advantage in the closing period to secure a 2–1 victory over Belgium.

Turkiye win 5-3 against Estonia
Türkiye took an early lead through Ege in the fourth minute before Serkan doubled the advantage. Estonia responded late in the opening period, with Liivanurm and Marmor both finding the net to level the score at 2–2, but Hazar struck just before the first break to restore Türkiye’s lead.

Serkan found the net again late in the second period to extend Türkiye’s advantage to 4–2 heading into the final period.

Rahnik pulled one back for Estonia in the third period, but Oğuzhan’s goal ensured a 5–3 victory for Türkiye.
