Josep Jr.’s extra-time goal secured a dramatic victory over Denmark.
Italy are the Euro Beach Soccer League Regular Phase Moldova 2026 champions after overcoming Denmark in a thrilling final. Sassari’s last-gasp equaliser forced extra time before Josep Jr. scored the decisive goal to secure the title for Italy.

7th-8th place
Estonia win 11–5 against Belgium
Estonia made a dominant start, with Lilleorg scoring twice to establish a 2–0 advantage at the end of the opening period.

Laurits added Estonia’s third goal early in the second period before Rayan responded for Belgium. Kigaste, Raku and Munskind then found the net to extend Estonia’s lead to 6–1 heading into the final period.
The closing period produced nine goals as Belgium attempted a comeback through David, who completed a hat-trick, and Anis. However, goals from Lilleorg, Saarts and a late Munskind double carried Estonia to an emphatic 11–5 victory.
5th/6th place
Ukraine win 4–3 against Kazakhstan after extra time
Ukraine took the lead through Shchytnik midway through the opening period. Kazakhstan were unable to find a response, leaving Ukraine with a narrow 1–0 advantage at the first break.

Shevchuk equalised for Kazakhstan early in the second period before Muralinov completed the turnaround to make it 2–1. Ukraine later missed a penalty, allowing Kazakhstan to retain their advantage heading into the final period.
Minbayev extended Kazakhstan’s lead, but Ukraine responded with two quick goals from the Levchenkos to level the match at 3–3. Voitenko then completed the comeback in extra time, sealing a dramatic 4–3 victory for Ukraine.
3rd/4th place
Germany win 5–3 against Moldova
Moldova took an early lead when Germany conceded an own goal, and they could not find an equaliser during the remainder of the opening period, leaving the hosts 1–0 ahead at the first break.

Florea doubled Moldova’s advantage in the second period, but Mülling quickly pulled one back for Germany. Schulte then scored in the closing moments to level the match at 2–2 heading into the final period.
Germany completed the turnaround through three quick goals from Peterson, Baaske and Olli. Beșelea scored a late consolation for Moldova, but Germany held on to secure a 5–3 victory and third place.
Final
Italy win 4–3 against Denmark after extra time
Italy took the lead through Remedi early in the opening period. Denmark were unable to respond, leaving Italy with a narrow 1–0 advantage at the first break.

Giordani doubled Italy’s lead just at game restart, but Pilgaard responded immediately to reduce Denmark’s deficit to 2–1 heading into the final period.

Wegeberg equalised for Denmark before Frandsen completed the turnaround to make it 3–2. Sassari struck in the final seconds to force extra time, where Josep Jr. scored the winning goal to secure a dramatic 4–3 victory for Italy.
Individual Awards
During the awards ceremony, the competition’s top performers were recognised. Denmark’s Gustav Ravn Madsen received the Best Goalkeeper award, Josep Jr. Gentilin of Italy was named the tournament MVP, while Estonia’s Juhan Lilleorg claimed the Top Scorer award with six goals.
