The tension in Batumi reached a new peak on Day 4 of the Euro Beach Soccer League, as the promotion battle was officially settled. With both Azerbaijan and Latvia delivering clinical performances to secure their respective victories, they have not only punched their tickets to the Division B final but have also officially earned promotion to Division A. As the tournament reaches its conclusion, the focus now shifts to the ultimate showdown to decide the Division B champion.

Playoffs 5th-7th place
Slovakia win 3-1 against England
Slovakia asserted their dominance early in the first period, establishing a 2-0 lead with goals from Lipovský and Polaček. Their disciplined defensive performance ensured they carried this momentum into the first break.

The second period saw England attempt to fight back, with Johnson finding the back of the net to narrow the deficit to 2-1. However, Slovakia maintained their composure and held onto their slender lead as the match intensified.
In the final period, Slovakia sealed their victory when Hrnčiar scored to bring the final score to 3-1. Despite England’s efforts to mount a comeback, Slovakia successfully defended their lead to secure the result.
England win 5-2 against Malta
Malta opened the scoring in the first period through Bray, but England responded with late goals from Johnson and Black to take a 2-1 lead into the first break.

England extended their advantage in the second period, with Lawson netting two goals to put his side firmly in control at 4-1 heading into the final period.
In the third period, Robinson added another for England before Bray struck again for Malta to complete his brace. Despite Malta’s late efforts, England comfortably closed out a 5-2 victory.
Semi-final
Azerbaijan win 6-1 against Norway
Azerbaijan dominated the opening period, establishing a commanding 3-1 lead with clinical finishes from Ramil, Sabir, and Orkhan. Hellebust provided the lone response for Norway during the period.

The second period saw Azerbaijan continue to control the tempo, with Sahib finding the net to further extend their advantage.
Maintaining their pressure into the third period, Azerbaijan secured the 6-1 victory with two additional goals from Sabir and Ramil to complete their impressive performance.
Latvia win 5-4 against Georgia
Latvia started strongly in the first period, building a 3-1 lead with goals from Grīslis, Labuts, and Ģēgers, while Lomidze found the back of the net for Georgia.

The second period saw a spirited response from Georgia as Shamiladze and Makharadze both scored to level the pressure, despite a goal from Latvia’s Pilipečuks.
In a tense final period, Ģēgers secured his brace for Latvia, and Kurdadze struck for Georgia. Latvia’s defense ultimately held firm to edge out a narrow 5-4 victory in an intense encounter.
