Following the great success of the Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup in April 2023 and most recently in December 2024, Beach Soccer Worldwide are proud to announce that the competition will return in December 2025. Beach Soccer Worldwide are also delighted to announce that a deal extension has been signed to confirm that the Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup will also take place in 2026 and 2027.
The 2024 edition of the competition accumulated spectacular viewership across the globe, with 50 countries broadcasting the event via lineal television and had viewers from across 100 countries streaming the event via Beach Soccer TV.
The state-of-the-art and extremely versatile Arena GNP Seguros in the vibrant city of Acapulco, containing 12,000 seats, will once again host the competition in 2025 as top men’s and women’s international teams will compete on the Mexican sand for a chance of securing the title in Acapulco.
Mundo Imperial and Estado de Guerrero, endorsed by the Mexican Football Association (FMF), have played significant roles in the overwhelming success of the opening two editions of competition, with the Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup now becoming a staple of the annual BSWW calendar and will be for years to come. A monumental event for all involved.
Joan Cuscó, President of Beach Soccer Worldwide, commented:
“It’s an absolute honour for BSWW to announce this huge extension for three more editions of the Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup. The venue is spectacular and the support from fans in attendance has been amazing.
“I’d like to thank the Mexican Football Association (FMF) for their consistant support in the development and growth of our sport, and of course it’s a pleasure to be hosting another event in their country.
“Alongside the importance of the action on the sand, we look to continue greatly supporting the local communities of Acapulco following the hurricanes in 2023 with the continuation of the ‘Un Gol Por Acapulco’ campaign, which we launched ahead of last year’s competition”, Cuscó concluded.
Seyed Rezvani, General Director of Mundo Imperial, was also enthusiastic about the announcement, expressing:

“We are extremely passionate about beach soccer and the growth of the sport in Acapulco and although the 2023 and 2024 editions of the tournament were wonderful, we’re excited to make the next three editions even better!”
Spain were crowned champions in both the men’s and women’s tournaments in the Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup 2024, with USA victorious in the women’s competition and Colombia triumphant in the men’s trophy in 2023.
