The competition starts soon in the Andalucian city
Ahead of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025 – European Qualifier Andalucía Cádiz 2024 getting started, the press conference went ahead at the Playa de la Victoria, Cádiz, and official training sessions continued.

Director of Events for Beach Soccer Worldwide, Josep Ponset spoke fondly of the location for the qualifier and welcomed all of the participating nations for the competition at the press conference, as he stated:
” We are really proud to be hosting this event in Cádiz. I think Cádiz holds a huge tradition within beach soccer in Spain and around the world, and has done for the past 20 years, so they deserve to host this event.
“Here we have a huge event as 21 national teams will compete for four places at the World Cup and we wish them all the best of luck.”
Ponset was joined at the press conference by Almudena Martinez, President of Diputación de Cádiz, Patricia del Pozo, Counselor of Culture and Sports of Junta de Andalucía, Bruno Garcia, Mayor of Ayuntamiento de Cádiz, and Jose Antonio Bernal, President of the commision of beach soccer for Real Federación Andaluza de Futbol.
Teams will look to complete their official training sessions, as the competition is just around the corner.
