Group A
BSC Vybir win 5-4 on penalties against Pafos BSC, after a 3-3 draw in the match.
Pafos BSC suffered an early setback when they conceded an own goal just three minutes into the match, giving BSC Vybir a 1-0 lead in the first period. However, Chicky Ardil equalised midway through the second period, levelling the score at 1-1. The second period saw an intense goal-scoring exchange, with both teams netting two goals each. Chicky Ardil and Mateusinho scored for Pafos BSC, while Voitenko and Dubovyk responded for BSC Vybir, taking the match into extra time with the score tied at 3-3.
The stalemate continued until the penalty shootout, where BSC Vybir edged Pafos BSC 5-4, their victory marked a thrilling opener in Group A.
BS Zeeland win 6-4 against Naxos BS.
Group A opening match saw BS Zeeland overcome Naxos BS in a thrilling encounter. Rivero’s goal early in the first period gave them a 1-0 lead, but Naxos BS equalised and took a 2-1 lead through goals from Distefano and Villani. The numerical disadvantage, however, began to tell in the second period as BS Zeeland capitalised with Bjorn’s brace and Martin’s goal, while Naxos BS added another goal by Distefano.
The third period saw BS Zeeland seal their victory with Rivero’s hat-trick, taking their tally to six. Distefano also completed his hat-trick for Naxos BS, but it was too late, as BS Zeeland comfortably closed out the 6-4 win.
Group B
BSC Artur Music win 7-6 against Rosh Haayin BSC.
In Group B encounter, BSC Artur Music outlasted Rosh Haayin BSC in a 13-goal thriller, which kicked off with an electrifying start. Rosh Haayin’s Edson Hulk scored first, but BSC Artur Music responded with 3 goals from Bernardo, Pashko, and Potapov to lead 3-1 at the end of the first period.
Rosh Haayin BSC fought back in the second period with three goals by Elihay, Pedro Mano and Edson Hulk’s second goal. While Potapov’s goal kept BSC Artur Music in contention. In the third period, Rosh Haayin BSC scored two goals more, but BSC Artur Music added three goals to give them a slim 7-6 victory.
Group C
Real Münster win 5-4 against Al-Taawoun.
In a nail-biting encounter, the match began with a goal apiece in the first period, courtesy of Alla for Al-Taawoun and Hodel for Real Münster. The second period saw Al-Taawoun take control, with goals from Eslam and Josep Jr., including Real Münster’s own goal. Hodel’s goal for Real Münster kept the German side in contention. Al-Taawoun held a 4-2 lead at the end of the period.
Real Münster staged a stunning comeback in the third period, scoring three goals to seal a slim 5-4 win, claiming a hard-fought victory to kick-start their World Winners Cup campaign.
Group D
Marseille BT wins 6-2 against CB Viseu
The Group D encounter between Marseille BT and CB Viseu began with a closely contested first period, as both teams found the net. Arturphel opened the scoring for Marseille BT, while Lucas quickly equalised for CB Viseu, leaving the score tied at 1-1.
Marseille BT seized control in the second period, netting three goals through Gori’s brace and Sciacca’s goal, taking a commanding 4-1 lead. They continued their dominance in the third period, with and Addarii’s goal and Gori completing his hat-trick. CB Viseu added a second goal through Lucas, but the outcome was already sealed for Marseille BT’s convincing 6-2 victory.
Group E
TMS FC win 4-2 against Barra de Santiago.
In Group E,
TMS FC kicked off their campaign with a hard-fought victory over Barra de Santiago. The match got off with Hernando striking for Barra de Santiago in the first period to give them an early 1-0 lead, but TMS FC’s response was swift and decisive. Jordan and Bê Martins scored successive goals, followed by Cai’s strike to take a 3-1 lead by the end of the second period.
The third period saw both teams push for more goals, with Léo Martins extending TMS FC’s lead. Barra de Santiago pulled one back through Emerson, but it wasn’t enough to mount a comeback, as TMS FC held on for a 4-2 win.
Group F
Canada BSC wins 4-3 against Bologna BS
The match between Canada BSC and Bologna BS got heated quickly in the first period, with five goals shared between the two teams. Rossetti, Cancelli and Adelson found the net for Bologna BS putting them ahead. Goyo and Holocher replied for Canada BSC leaving them trailing behind by 2-3 in the first period.
The pace slowed slightly in the second period, with Navas scoring an early goal for Canada BSC, levelling the game. His second goal in the third period secured the hard-fought 4-3 victory for his team in Group F’s first match.
Napoli Patron win 4-1 against BSC Hobby.
The Group F match between Napoli Patron and BSC Hobby began with Georgikopoulos striking the opening goal for Napoli Patron, and they maintained the momentum in the second period with Mikhail doubling their advantage. At the same time, BSC Hobby struggled to find its footing, unable to capitalise on scoring opportunities. Their only goal came via Napoli Patron’s own goal in the third period.
Napoli Patron secured two additional goals through Dimas and Novikau, ensuring a convincing 4-1 win.
