Vasco da Gama and Rosario Central to vie in final!

Great semifinals send Brazilians and Argentineans to decider, with Punta Hermosa and Iquique fighting for Bronze

South American giants Vasco da Gama and CA Rosario Central are the finalists of the Copa Libertadores de Fútbol Playa taking place in Santos, Brazil, following two amazing games in semifinals.

Brazilians and Argentineans secured their tickets in a very different fashion, though, with the Carioca storming past Punta Hermosa (11-1) and the Academia needing extra-time and penalties in a fiercely contested game against Chile champions CD Iquique.

Agustini and Gómez Cuevas were in hand for the “Canalla”, with two goals during the game to have Rosario always afloat, and some more relevan contribution during the penalty kick shootout.

In the other games of the day, Santa Marta of Colombia and CN Puerta del Lago of Paraguay earned the right to fight for 5th in the competition, following tight wins over Hamacas FC (BOL) and Club Malvín (URU).
