The AFA suspends all matches after Kirchner?s decease

The Argentina government has declared three days of mourning after the decease of Néstor Kirchner, the former Nation president, and husband of the current president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, who died yesterday due to heart failure. Several actions have been taken consequently, being one of those the cancellation of sportive events.

The AFA (Argentine Football Association) officially suspended all matches that were to take place throughout the upcoming weekend. Through an official communiqué, the entity in charge of the Aregentinean Football has cancelled all fixtures until next November 1st, obviously including the Argentina-Brazil scheduled for this Saturday in Parque Sarmiento (Copa Buenos Aires Beach Soccer).
