Teams start their engines for the Copa Latina

After an exhausting training session day yesterday, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Mexico are ready to begin their battle today (16:00 local time) for the Copa Latina. Hosts Brazilians will not think about an alternative ending than the one getting them their tenth trophy in the twelfth edition of the tournament. But they will need to bend two FIFA World Cup Runner-Ups, Mexico (2007) and Uruguay (2006) to do so, together with the all-combative Argentina, another regular World Cup contender, who definitely have other plans…

The sand in the Hot Park of the Rio Quente Resorts will be again a great scenario for this exciting and amazingly competitive edition of the tournament. The stadium there is turning into a referential setting for the Beach Soccer season, and will bring the fans the best spectacle for the third time. All of the teams, moreover, regard this Copa Latina as the first great test regarding their preparation for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2011 Ravenna (Italy), to which only CONCACAF Champions México have secured their place so far.

The matches facing these American monsters will be, as usual, shot through the live broadcast window in www.beachsoccer.com, and will be an important part of the schedule of giant TV Globo in Brazil, as well as Fox Sports in Latin America.
