Defending champions Kristall will kick off their campaign against Lokomotiv on Monday
Today sees the first matches of the 2020 Russian Beach Soccer Cup take place, as the recently crowned Euro Winner Cup kings, BSC Kristall, will try to claim their fourth consecutive Russian Cup.

Their first test, however, will be arguably the most difficult of all, as they will meet the Russian Beach Soccer League winners, BSC Lokomotiv, on Day 1 of the competition.
Lokomotiv have won the competition four times, but not since 2016, while Kristall have also won it four time, but three of those were over the last three editions, representing a period of domination by the Saint Petersburg side.
The rest of the big-name Russian clubs will also be competing, including Mundialito de Clubes runners-up, Spartak Moscow, and their city rivals CSKA.
