Russia thinking to bid for 2021 World Cup

According to Inside World Football, the Russian Football Union wants to host the XIth FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Moscow

The Russian Football Union plans to nominate Moscow as their option to bid for the 2021 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, Inside World Football reports (http://www.insideworldfootball.com/2018/01/04/rfu-put-moscow-forward-host-2021-beach-soccer-world-cup/), quoting RFU Deputy President Sergei Anokhin. 

Russia, World Cup champions in 2011 and 2013 plans to strengthen even more their relationship with the sport, accomplishing one of their biggest objectives. Regular Euro Beach Soccer League venue, having hosted a FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier and an indoor Euro Beach Soccer Cup in 2012, the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup would confirm Russia as one of the most important and prestigious beach soccer destinations in the World. 

The 2021 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will mean the eleventh edition of the biggest beach soccer showdown, following the ones hosted in Rio de Janeiro (2005,2006,2007), Marseille (2008), Dubai (2009), Ravenna-Italy (2011), Tahiti (2013), Portugal (2015), the Bahamas (2017) and the upcoming one in 2019, with the venue yet to be announced.
