The paradisiac Tahití will be the headquarters for Oceania Qualifier, already confirmed for February 2011. The organization is very satisfied to have the Qualifier for the next World Cup at the same place where 2013 Beach Soccer World Cup will take place.
In 2006 the Oceania Football Confederation hosted its first international Beach Soccer tournament, in Moorea island, and this sport has been growing in Tahití since them, as it has done in many other countries.
