Lisbon confirmed as the venue for the Superfinal

The Portuguese capital, Lisbon, will host the last and most important Euro Beach Soccer League event of the season: The EBSL Superfinal, together with the Promotional final. This competition, held from August 26th to 29th, will decide both who are to become the final winners of the Euro Beach Soccer League, and also who is going to promote to Division A and who is going to be released to Division B, if this ever happens.

The six teams that achieved more points after the different EBSL stages (Moscow, Marseille, Lignano and The Hague) are going to struggle to win the competition, and lift the Cup as European kings. The competition will be structured in two round robin 3-contender groups. In group A, the table leader Russia will face Portugal and Romania, who ended 4th and 6th respectively after the regular phase. Group B will confront Switzerland (2nd), Spain (3rd) and Italy (5th).

Excitement will not end with this competition, since the Promotional Final is also taking place to finally determine if France, as the last team in Division A table is to leave their top-flight slot to any of the winners of the EBSL Division B stages, that is to say, Israel, Azerbaijan, Hungary and Turkey, together with the Czech Republic as the best second.

The distribution of this Promotional final will be the same: two groups of three contenders. The winners of the group will play-off for the Division A slot. France, Hungary and Czech Republic will fight for the chance in Group A, and the same will do for Israel, Azerbaijan and Turkey in Group B.
