Levante win Spanish League, too!

European Queens AIS Playas de San Javier also seal national glory, upsetting Madrid CFF for the second time

One week after the brilliant consecution of the Copa RFEF, Levante UD reedited the Spanish League title this past Sunday in La Nucía (Murcia).

The Granota bent Alumnios Sotelo Cadiz FC in the last matchday to stay atop of the table and clinch a new honour. The two-points distance in the standings had the two sides at a one-win distance to the Cup.

A 3-1 for Levante, with two goals by Dani Pajón and another one by the competition’s top scorer, Pablo Pérez, had the “granota” prevailing.

This new honour brightens the most successful season ever for the Valencia-side, a year in which they have not only sealed the two National Competitions in Spain (League and Cup) but also ended in the third place at the Euro Winners Cup in Nazaré.

AIS Playas de San Javier seize the title, as well

In the women’s competition, AIS Playas de San Javier keep building an unforgettable season. The Euro Winners Cup champions also became the Spanish League Champions, upsetting, once again, Madrid CFF, who they upset to claim the Euro Winners Cup.

Madrid CFF, Copa RFEF 2019 champions, could not bend the European champions this time either.
