Lebanon tunes up with exhaustive camp

Karim Moghadam?s side beat Syria (9-4 and 6-4) in a double-round friendly held last weekend in Beirut

Lebanon have placed important expectations on the upcoming Asian Beach Games, happening in China from 16th to 23rd of June, and are undergoing a demanding preparation to reach Haiyang in very good conditions. The Karim Moghadam steered side has been playing some friendly games to increase their competition level, being the last of them two matches hosted in Ramlet El Baida beach against neighbours Syria.

The sensations after this double-test were very good for the hosts, as two solid victories (9-4 and 6-4) over the Syrian side prove the team is getting strong two months ahead the Pan Asian festival. At the same time, the prolific performances by Haitham Fattal (5 goals), Mohammad Mari (3 goals) or Ahmad Jradh (3 goals), amongst others, proved the team treasures powder enough to face the Haiyang challenge with reasonable options to upset continental powers such as UAE, Oman, China or Japan.

In their exhaustive training schedule, the Lebanese National team will keep on testing themselves in friendly matches this same week. Next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Lebanon will precisely take on Oman in three different friendlies, again in Beirut.
