Kristall to play Russia in InterCup final

Russia and Kristall each win by a single goal to secure a spot in the final

The finalists of the InterCup were decided by the slimmest of margins in the semi-finals, as hosts Alliance St. Petersburg are the only team yet to win a match in the competition.

Russia squeezed past Delta to make it to the final with a 7-6 win. They will face Kristall who won against Italy by the same scoreline, but requiring extra time to see off the stubborn Azzuri.

Italy and Delta will meet in tomorrow’s match to decide who takes bronze in St. Petersburg.

Turkey were beaten comfortably by club side Krylia Sovetov, and will now have to take on Alliance St. Petersburg to avoid finishing the tournament in last place.

Krylia Sovetov are set to fight City for fifth-place in tomorrow’s play-off.
