Iran beat Lebanon in double friendly

Both teams faced in Teheran last week in two matches, looking for a good preparation for the Asian Beach Games

The III Asian Beach Games are getting closer, and the teams do not want to lose any chance of enjoying a good preparation for the competition. With this idea in mind, the Lebanon National Team travelled to Teheran to face, in a double friendly fixture, the Irani National Team, current Bronze medalist in the Pan Asian competition.

Although the games were absolutely balanced, confirming that the Lebanese squad is doing a great job in their growth as a Beach Soccer team, the Persian let no victory flee from their hands. In the first of the matches, though, Naderi and his teammates had to get things finished in the penalty shoot-out, after the game’s regular time and extra time ended with a 4-4.

In the second match, the regular 36 minutes were enough to have a winner. Hosts Iran got up to 6-4, and despite two balls against the crossbar by Moghadam’s lads, the score did not move again.
