Loud win over Lithuania has the hosts on top of the table at the Friendship Cup, followed by Turkey

Nico Alvarado could not find a better way to start his coaching career ahead of the Belarussian National team. The hosts stormed past Lithuania in the Friendship Cup opening to earn the head of the table. 

Captain Ihar Bryshtsel celebrated his 100th cap for Belarus with another great performance and a hat-trick to help his team round a spectacular score.

In the other game of the day, Turkey captured two points following an extra time win over Azerbaijan. 

Despite being ahead in the score for almost the whole game, thanks to Baris openener, the Turkish saw how Ramil Aliyev send the game into extra time in the last minute of the match

Volkan, in the firs econds of extra time, gave Turkey the advantage back, and the 1-2 remained until the final whistle, giving the Turkish the two points at stake.
