Swiss and German sides will battle for the historical first ever Women’s Euro Winners Cup in Catania

Grasshopper, finalist of the Euro Winners Cup!

Grasshopper Club Zurich earned the first of the berths of the final, after a nail-bitting fixture against Russian WFC Zvedza. Both teams, earmarked as favourites to claim the crown, brought on a terrific beach soccer fight in which the Swiss side felt stronger than ever.

Pokteva finally managed to pull back for the Russian side, but Grasshoppers would bring on all their breed and spirit not to allow Zvedza any further than that, thus securing a historic step that sends them to the final to the first ever Women’s Euro Winners Cup.
