El Salvador give no chance at home

The ?Cuscatlecos? clinch the I Copa de La Independencia with three victories out of three matches

El Salvador National Beach Soccer Team fielded their best version in the I Copa de la Independencia they hosted last weekend, and begged the Cup with three victories in their three matches. Rudis Gallo’s team lef their opponents no chance at all, despite facing CONCACAF and CONMEBOL battlers Guatemala and Peru, proving what made them the fourth team in the globe in the last FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

In the three matches, held in La Pirraya, the Barra de Santiago and the Hotel Pacific Paradise, the hosts collected the best sensations ahead of the Juegos Bolivarianos and the upcoming FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2013 – CONCACAF Qualifier which is to take place in the beginning of next year (date and venue yet to be confirmed)

The tournament was organized by the FESTFUT, and blossomed in the framework of the I Festival Olímpico de Playa, organized by the Salvadorian Olympic Committee. These were the results in the competition:

Thursday, September 27th:

6:00 p.m. – Selección  Occidental Vs. Perú (suspended due to heavy rain)
7:00 p.m. – El Salvador 6-5 Guatemala
