BSWW Mundialito scheduled for 27-29 July!
The traditional appointment will experience its XVIIth edition again in Portimão, featuring Portugal, Spain, Germany and China
The time has come again for one of the most important dates of the Beach Soccer summer: the Beach Soccer Worldwide Mundialito. Again this year, Praia da Rocha, in the beautiful seaside village of Portimao, will venue from July 27th to 29th this concentrated and thrilling dose of the most spectacular sport on the sand.
With XVI editions so far, and heading in a couple of weeks for its XVIIth, the Mundialito has firmly established itself as a key appointment for the Algarve summer months and, of course, strengthens its position as the Beach Soccer event with a wider tradition in the sport.
One of the key factors of this yearly success is the entity of the four teams taking part in it. And this year will not be an exception, as the chart for the BSWW Mundialito includes four strong sides, the first of them being, obviously, hosts Portugal.
Ze Miguel’s lads need to give their crowd some good news after being left outside the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2013 in the last Qualifier, held in Moscow, and clinching the Mundialito back after two years of Brazilian reign is a great way to do so.
But the other three contenders are going to make it nothing easy, beginning with current Champions of FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier 2013, Spain, one of the toughest opponents for the Portuguese. China (recently awarded as the III Asian Beach Games Silver Medalists) and Germany (first winner of the Euro Beach Soccer league in 1998).
The match schedule for the XVII BSWW Mundialito goes as follows:
13:15 Spain vs. Germany
14.30 China vs. Portugal
