288 teams, thousands of players and over 25.000 visitors during the weekend in the 7th edition of the Coop Beach Soccer USA Cup
Beach Soccer in North America experienced a new amusing chapter, with the 7th edition of the Beach Soccer festival in Oceanside (California). The Coop Beach Soccer USA Cup, supported by Beach Soccer Worldwide, brought on a fantastic weekend of Beach Soccer, with more than 288 teams involved and an attendance over 25.000 visitors from USA and abroad during the whole weekend.
Cd Nacional (from Madeira, Portugal) clinched the PRO Cup, after edging Shoreline BSC in the finals of the tournament on Sunday. Their 4-1 win rounded a brilliant weekend for the Portuguese, in which they also ran past Portland BSC (4-1), LFP Progreso Yucatan (4-0), Los Angeles BSC (3-2) and SoCal Beach FC (3-1 ).
Current CONCACAF champions, USA National team, took also part in this big festival, with National Coach Eddie Soto and some of the squad leading a Kids Beach Soccer Clinic.
