Ajman and Al Hamriya get to UAE finals

Both teams qualified in National Championship second stage (Sharjah) and join Ittihad Kalba, Dibba Al Hosn and Al Oroobah

Ajman Club, as the Sharjah zone stage champions, and Al Hamriya, as the leg’s runner ups, secured a place in the United Arab Emirates National Beach Soccer Championship finals, experiencing this 2012 its opening edition in a three-stage plus finals format.

After Ajman solidly clinched the first place in the zone with two solid victories (8-4 over Al Hamriya and 4-1 against Al Arabi), Al Hamriya were finally able to beat Al Arabi Club coming from a 0-2 score down, being thus granted the second slot of this second group qualifier.

The UAE National coach, Marcelo Mendes, assured that the final classification had been fully fair: “Ajman were the deserved winners of this stage. They play notable Beach Soccer with good players and a very professional approach in their game style, especially with the moves with the goalkeeper”, he pointed.

The two teams will now join Ittihad Kalba, Dibba Al Hosn, Al Oroobah who go their tickets in the first Qualifying round, held at Fujairah early this month, in the UAE National Beach Soccer Championships final stage, to be happen at Dubai after the third qualifying round to take place at Al Mamzar Beach (Dubai) next weekend.
