Power Horse Euro Beach Soccer League - Torredembarra 2012
After two regular-phase stages, the Euro Beach Soccer League train comes down to Spain for its last qualifying stop before the Superfinal and Promotional Final. The Power Horse Euro Beach Soccer League Torredembarra 2012 will mean the last chance for Spain, Portugal, and Poland to get amongst the best-6 in the continent, with Switzerland already qualified. From this coming Friday 17th to Sunday 19th, the beautiful seaside resort will see the last battle to secure one of the remaining three free berths in The Hague.
With the Power Horse Euro Beach Soccer League Berlin 2012 meaning the ticket for Russia and Romania, and having Switzerland mathematically in as well, it is now the turn for Spaniards, Portuguese and Polish to earn their door into the Superfinal, with Italy awaiting with five points to snatch their place to one of them. In turn, Switzerland will have to fight to achieve the best possible rank, thus granting a somehow more favourable group in the Superfinal. Precisely the current FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier Champions, and hosts, Spain, face the worst figures to finally make it to the Euro Beach Soccer League decider on Dutch soil. They’ll need, at least, to win two of their matches to get in.
Instead, nothing is decided yet regarding the Division B pool, with Ukraine, Estonia, England and Andorra coming down to the Costa Daurada looking for a place in the Promotion Final. Only the winner in Torredembarra will have access to the fight for the Division A license in The Hague, with those thinking about the possibilities to become the best second in the season needing really brilliant figures. So far, the Czech Republic has things quite much under control, as their 6 points +7 goal average achieved in Terracina mean a rather hard-to-beat registers.
