Seleçao fly higher than anyone in Mexico

The Brazilian national team keep winning to top the table in the BSWW Riviera Maya Cup, as Mexico lose to Spain

Brazil run past the Bahamas in the Riviera Maya Cup

The Verdeamarela heads for the Cup in Playa del Carmen. After a loud win over Bahamas, Junior Negão?s side top the table with a terrific +9 balance that places them in a privileged position to bag this BSWW Riviera Maya Cup 2013.

Brazil began the match imposing a heavy rhythm, a pace Bahamas found hard to cope with. These first minutes were precisely the key for the Seleçao to build a consistent advantage that would have them cruising past the whole game without losing their dominant position in the score.

Despite Bahamas finally shook the Brazilian pressure off, even managing to cut the distance with St. Fleur?s 2-1, the truth is that they never seemed to have real options to make the Brazilians stumble. Indeed, just seconds afterwards the Caribbean hit, Mauricinho punished the Bahamian cheekiness with the 3-1.

The Tetracampeão would never let Ceciliano?s lads any chance to try and counteract, and kept mercilessly punishing Davis? nets, to widen the gap to a loud 9-1. After so much fighting, Bahamas was finally let a little reward, as Hanna closed the game with a brilliant missile, firing the 9-2 home from the halfway line.

Goals: 1-0: Boquinha, min. 9 (1); 2-0: Bruno Malias, min. 5 (1); 2-1: St. Fleur, min. 2 (1); 3-1: Mauricinho, min. 2 (1); 4-1: Andre, min. 0 (1); 5-1: Mauricinho, min. 2 (2); 6-1: Catarino, min. 6 (3); 7-1: Boquinha, min. 2 (3); 8-1: Mauricinho, min. 0 (3); 9-1: Mauricinho, min. 0 (3); 9-2: Hanna, min. 0 (3)

Spain earn first points in Riviera Maya

The Spanish National time grasped their first win in this BSWW Riviera Maya Cup 2013 after edging the hosts (2-3) in a hard-fought game. A new remarkable performance by inspired Isaac Rodríguez was not enough for the Azteca this time, but Mexico still keep options open to have the cup stay in home soil.

Spain always found it hard to maintain the lead in the score. After Aceiton?s opener, Rodríguez replied for Mexico, letting Alonso?s side know that they would never surrender in front of their crowd.

Midway second period, Llorenç swept the Spaniards ahead once again, but things remained really leveled on the sand. The Mexicans kept trying hard to equalize once again, but Spain did never forget about their opponent?s end, at that attitude was rewarded with the 1-3.

The Azteca kept fighting, but this time, Rodriguez?s efforts fell one goal short. Only one hit was not enough for the hosts, who could not neutralize the Spanish advantage. The 2-3 has now Spain in the second position, after Brazil. At the same time, though, Mexico still have the doors open to clinch the cup tomorrow, provided they win Brazil widely enough.

Goals: 0-1: Aceitón, min. 2 (1); 1-1: I. Rodríguez, min. 0 (1); 1-2: Llorenç, min. 6 (2); 1-3: R. Merida, min. 5 (3); 2-3: I. Rodríguez, min. 4 (3)
