A new country has jumped onto the Beach Soccer boat, so as to experience at their own beaches the magic and thrill of this spectacular sport. Paraguay will enjoy as of next November a National Championship in which eight teams will regularly play on a League, two-group basis, as the Paraguayan Football Association agreed in their last meeting.
The competing squads are Dep Sajonia, Universidad Americana, Club Internacional de Tenis, Club Nacional de Regatas El Mbiguá (Group A), Club Centenario, Club Puerta del Lago, Yacht y Golf Club and UAA (Group B). Next Sunday 14th November, the Club Centenario, in the Surubii region of the capital Asunción, will host the first matchday of the Championship.
