Moldova, first team to secure Promotion Final berth!

Estonia, as runner-up, still has options to qualify as one of the best second-ranked teams.

An extra time winner by captain Andrei Negara had Moldova upsetting Estonia and becoming the winners of this first Euro Beach Soccer League Moscow 206, thus securing the first of the tickets at stake to this season’s Euro Beach Soccer League Promotion Final.

Moldova wanted to make the most of this historical opportunity, trying to command the game from the very beginning. Negara swept the Moldovan ahead just two minutes into the game by Estonia immediately balanced things back.

The action-reaction beach soccer went on and on during the following minutes. Moldova stepped ahead once again, only to see their Estonian counterparts counteract. Afterwards, it was Estonia who tried to take the lead, but the Moldovan side would not like the idea either…

The 3-3 at the end of the regular time would send the game into extra time, where Negara would bag his third of the day to give his team the win, the first place in the stage and a place in the fight for Division A at the upcoming Euro Beach Soccer League Promotion Final.

Goals: 0-1: Negara, min. 10 (1); 1-1: Raku, min. 9 (1); 1-2: Negara, min. 10 (2); 2-2: Tamm, min. 4 (2); 3-2: Lepik, min. 7 (3); 3-3: Lascu, min. 5 (3); 3-4: Negara, min. 2 (3t)

Serbia earns first-ever win in tight battle against Kazakhstan

Serbia has just needed six games to earn their first win in the beach soccer elite. It was not an easy one, though, as Kazakhstan did never give up and tried everything to wipe the Serbian advantage out in this last matchday of the Euro Beach Soccer League Moscow 2016.

Vucicevic had the leading scoring voice for Serbia again today. The former Lokomotiv Moscow footballer scored three goals that helped his team all through the game.

Although in some moments it seemed that Kazakhistan could ruin the Serbian expectations again, Knezevic’s lads managed to contain the Kazakh reaction, which fell one goal short.

Right before the final whistle, the whole Serbian team, and the whole stadium indeed, contained their breath, as one very clear goal chance by Kazakhstan could have sent the game to extra time. But Pantelic denied that aatempt and secured the first-ever victory by Serbia, who will leave Moscow having written the first successful page of their history. Many more to come…

Goals: 0-1: Vucicevic, min. 9 (1); 0-2: Vucicevic, min. 1 (1); 0-3: Cubrilovic, min. 11 (2); 1-3: Vassilyev, min. 4 (2); 1-4: Antic, min. 0 (2); 2-4: Perevyortov, min. 11 (3); 3-4: Perevyortov, min. 10 (3); 3-5: Jovanovic, min. 5 (3); 4-5: Chernyshov, min. 5 (3); 4-6: Vucicevic, min. 3 (3); 5-6:Kvyatovskiy, min. 1 (3);
