Lawrie Golding has joined The Beach Soccer Foundation to supercharge the projects for these coming years. His deep expertise, beach soccer passion, and knowledge not only of the African continent but of many beach soccer environments all around the globe make him a perfect fit for the Beach Soccer Foundation.
Golding is passionate about connecting people, changing lives and creating possibilities, and this is what he has been successfully doing for all his career, including a twenty year career in the Vodacom Group.
This South-African based professional has a vast knowledge of the African continent, having worked in numerous countries in the region for decades, including Nigeria, Mozambique, Lesotho, Tanzania or Congo, amongst others.
Passionate about sports in general (He graduated as Physical Education Teacher) and beach soccer in particular, just like his whole family, Lawrie Golding has not only acted as a beach soccer promoter in South Africa, but has also helped BSWW organize the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup qualifiers for years and, together with his team, has carried out several activations at FIFA Beach Soccer World Cups 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011.
Since 2014, Lawrie Golding has been acting as the Chairman of the African Advisory Board of the CMO Council, which connect high-profile professionals across the continent and facilitates the sharing of knowledge both for business and for a better understanding of the community cultures.
