The Beach Soccer Worldwide stand at the Soccerex Global Convention proudly received last Monday a very special visit: Joao Havelange, the FIFA honorary president and former FIFA president, spent some time at the global football meeting and wanted not to miss the chance of getting to know the last news about our sport, a modality he really loves. Mr. Havelange, a current attender to FIFA Beach Soccer World Cups has always supported the game, and has enjoyed the matches live whenever his agenda has let him do so.
Havelange, FIFA president from 1974 to 1998, was also awarded after a great sporting career during the convention. Brazil’s captain in the 1970 World Cup, Carlos Alberto Torres, presented him the award.
